I. Overview

1. The equipment is mainly used for the automatic hot and cold pressing of battery cells after winding or stacking, short circuit testing, cell stacking and packaging, automatic cutting of pole ears, encapsulation, automatic insulation sheet addition, automatic welding of poles, automatic bending and sealing of covers, automatic laser welding, automatic leak testing, and automatic material collection.

2. High degree of automation, no manual operation required. The equipment starts automatic operation when the battery cells enter, completing each action automatically without manual intervention.

II. Equipment Functions

1. Automatic Hot and Cold Pressing: The equipment automatically places the battery cells on the hot pressing platform using a robotic arm, undergoes automatic hot pressing (temperature and pressure can be set), and after hot pressing, the robotic arm moves the cells to the cold pressing platform for cold pressing, while simultaneously conducting short circuit testing (the cold pressing platform is water-cooled).

2. Cell Packaging: 5 or N cells are stacked together, positioned neatly, and bundled under a certain pressure. Bundling methods include: full circle bundling, U-shaped bundling at both ends, or full circle intermittent bundling with 3 layers of tape, U-shaped bundling at both ends.

3. Automatic Cutting of Pole Ears: Automatically shapes the bundled cell pole ears and cuts them to a fixed length. Automatically collects waste.

4. Automatic Encapsulation: The equipment automatically positions cleaned aluminum or steel shells, the robotic arm automatically clamps the battery, and automatically encapsulates it.

5. Automatic Insulation Sheet Installation: Vibrating tray feeds, automatically positions insulation sheets, and automatically installs them.

6. Automatic Welding of Poles: The battery is automatically positioned, and the ultrasonic welding machine automatically welds.

7. Automatic Bending and Sealing of Covers: The battery is automatically positioned, the equipment automatically folds the pole ears, and automatically seals the cover.

8. Automatic Laser Welding: The robotic arm automatically positions the battery, the battery automatically rotates 90 degrees, the servo motor drives the laser welding head to move at a uniform speed, welding on all four sides.
